Title: Oil painting In the village after the rain Oksana Kalenyuk Description: NoAAA4095 This oil painting cardboard, titled "In the village after the rain", the composition is rich in texture and color, conveying the freshness of the landscape, the wet earth, and the sense of renewal that comes with the passing storm. In the foreground, a group of chickens and ducks peck at the dampened ground, their vibrant red and white feathers standing out against the lush green grass and patches of golden hay. The ground is painted with thick impasto strokes, creating a sense of depth and movement as the wet soil glistens under the sunlight breaking through the clouds. The central focus of The painting is a weathered wooden house with a sloping roof, its walls tinged with earthy reds and browns. The roof, painted in muted gray and beige tones, appears soaked from the recent rain, with streaks of color hinting at the dampness. Next to the house, a large pile of haystacks, depicted in shades of golden yellow and deep ochre, adds warmth to the scene, contrasting with the cool, stormy sky above. To the right, towering trees with a mix of warm autumnal hues and deep greens frame the composition. Their wet leaves reflect the light, and the artist's bold, energetic brushstrokes give the impression of branches swaying gently in the aftermath of the storm. The trees create a natural canopy, sheltering the homestead and enhancing the sense of coziness and rural simplicity. Above, the sky is dramatic, filled with heavy, textured clouds in shades of deep gray, purple, and blue. The receding storm is evident, but glimpses of bright turquoise and soft white suggest that the weather is clearing, bringing a sense of hope and tranquility to the scene. The interplay of dark, moody clouds with the sunlit village below creates a striking contrast, emphasiz The painting exudes a feeling of resilience and peace, portraying a moment when nature and village life harmoniously coexist. The fresh scent of rain lingers in the air, the animals return to their daily routines, and the land, once parched, drinks in the life-giving water. The artist masterfully captures this post-rain atmosphere, inviting the viewer to experience the quiet magic of a rural village, where life continues its steady rhythm, regardless of the passing storms.
