Vintage Sterling Siam Peacock Hinged Brooch, 1940's-1950's, 2" tall and 1/25" wide. This is a two-piece brooch - the body of the peachock with wings stretched out and feet with it's little feet pointed out. The upright open tail of the peacock is hinged ad stays in the upright postion when worth. C-Clasp. The body has and finish is in very good condition with light oxidation - the tail is somewhat domed. The hinge has some wear. It is signed silver and Siam. Tests as sterling with a weight of appx. 9.99 gr. (W? 3698
