As the creator of 3-D limited edition fine art, he is best known for his obsession with bright colors and wonderful detail, the frenetic energy that infuses his work and a unique hand assembled 3-D layering technique that brings his images to life. Born in Bronx, NY, and a graduate of the New York School of Visual Arts, Charles Fazzino’s popularity has soared during his thirty-year-career.
Most famous for his 3-D renderings of New York and countless other cities, he has also established himself as a pop culture historian with masterful tributes to popular icons such as The New York Yankees, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, and the Characters of Walt Disney. The Museum of Art/Fort Lauderdale was the first stop for Fazzino’s 2010 exhibition titled “The Faces of Fort Lauderdale,” and Fazzino works have been exhibited by the The Museu Carmen Thyssen Andorra, the Norman Rockwell Museum, The Arlington Museum of Art, and The Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center and Museum of Nassau County. In 2009, he was a recipient of the prestigious Ellis Island “Medal of Honor.” In 2022, his 75th Anniversary Commemorative Toys for Tots artwork was permanently installed in the Pentagon and he was awarded the Department of the Navy’s Superior Public Service Medal. The commemorative artwork is entitled “The People’s House: A Quilt of White House History”, and illustrates the history of the White House and the families who resided in it throughout United States history.
Fazzino’s narrative style, innovative technique, and sense of composition make him a master storyteller who touches his collectors and captures the most meaningful parts of their everyday lives. There have been six books published about Fazzino. He resides in New York and contributes his time and art to raising millions of dollars for countless causes throughout the world.
