Short information:Bazylev Nikolai Ivanovich - was born on February 22, 1914 in Donetsk. Studied at the Kiev Art Institute. Teachers: Krichevsky F., Trokhimenko K., Padalka I., Shtilman I., Boychuk M., Taran A. Painter and sculptor, best known as a graphic artist. Worked in poster, easel and monumental painting. Participated in the Second World War. Since 1945 took part in national and all-Union exhibitions. Main works: "Tank attack in the village Lysyanka" (1947), "Korsun-Shevchenko, encirclement" (1947-1948), "On vacation" (1948), "Parkhomenko" (1958), "T.H. Shevchenko in Moscow" (1961), "On the skating rink" (1963), "Memory" (1983). Works are kept in the Art Fund of Ukraine, National Historical Museum, Lviv Art Museum. Nikolai Ivanovich died on March 27, 1988 in Kiev.
