  • Description:10kt Jade/Nephrite Ring, Bypass, Sz. 5.5, Signed JQ, 1970's-1980's. The stone is a marquise shape that is appx. 15mm by 7mm. It has set with a pointed/split end cap on each pointed end of the ring. It is set goind down the finger over a pointed design with the bypass bands meet the stone front and back. The ring is appx. 24mm down the finger and 7.5mm wide where the stone is set. The band has a V-point front and back where it connects and is appx. 3.2mm and tapers to appx. 2.5mm around the back of the finger. The band on top has a ridged center that becomes rounded mid way around the finger. The stone has an open back setting. The weight of the ring is appx. 5.02 grams. It acid tests as 10kt. It appears to be marked 18kt but does not test as 18kt. At the back of the band there is a black mark - it appears this may have been resized and not done perfectly. Price is adjusted for this. Statement type ring with the size of stone and the length going down the finger. Good to very good condition other than the marks as mentioned at the back of the finger. It does not interfere with wear at all it is mentioned to be total transparent. (W72924.15X4 SS 17263 J 1/26/26).
