ARTIST: Olga Sergeevna OtroshchenkoOn January 4, 1947, Olga Sergeevna was born in Kyiv, a Ukrainian painter. Laureate of the Prize of the Central Committee of the Komsomol of Ukraine (1976). Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1977).Father is artist Sergei Otroshchenko, mother is Tatyana Yablonskaya.Sisters are artists Elena Beisembinova (Otroshchenko), Gayane Atayan.In 1959-1966. studied at the Republican Art Secondary School named after T.G. Shevchenko.Graduated from the Moscow Higher Art and Industrial School (formerly Stroganov), department of monumental and decorative painting (1966-1971). She defended her diploma work “Harvest Festival” using mosaic technique with honors.In 1967, Olga Otroshchenko married the artist Valery Laskarzhevsky.Since 1972, she has participated in many republican and all-Union art exhibitions. Some works were acquired by the Ministry of Culture, the USSR Union of Artists, the Ministry of Culture and the Ukraine.In 1979 she participated in the exhibition “Young Artists of Kyiv” in the exhibition hall of the Union of Artists of Ukraine.In 1986-1991. lived with her daughter in Moscow due to the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.In 1992, about twenty of her works were purchased for the Dragon Museum, Taiwan.Works:The Etching Press and the Rose (1973);"The Little Mistress" (1976);"May Day" (1978);"Summer Meadow" (1979);"The Road" (1980);"The Sun is Again" (1981);"Blue Shadows" (1985);"Portrait of a Daughter" (1988);
