ARTIST: Viktor Mykhailovych VolodkoBorn on February 28, 1956, in the city of Kharkov. Graduated from the Kharkov Art and Industry Institute (1978). Teachers in the specialty: A. Kapshuk, B. Kosarev. Painter. He defines his stylistic direction as naive absurdity. A number of symbols that are repeated (mask, umbrella, wheel, cross, bull and cow, “sighted” triangle, trumpet) have metaphase meanings. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1989). He worked at the Poltava Art and Production Plant (since 1988). Participated in exhibitions: republican, all-Union, foreign (since 1987). Personal exhibitions - in Malmo, Sweden (1992), Stuttgart, Germany (1993), Poltava (1994, 1996). Main works: “Mood” (1995), “My Bunny” (1999), “Coast of Thirst” (1999), “Day of the Fisherman” (2000), “Accountant on Vacation” (2004); series - “Farewell of the Slav” (2006); series - “Silent Desire” (2007); series - “Bird of Happiness” (2010), “Thoughts” (1988), “The Appearance of Three Worlds”, “Trumpet Woman”, “Prophet”, “Christmas”, “Journey of the Prophet” (1991), “Taboo”, “ Journey of Amateurs", "Late Skating" (2000), "Birder" (2003). Lived and worked in Poltava.
