Cambridgeshire, England, 866-1067 AD. Oval form, size 11. 1.5mm at the bottom swelling to 2.5mm at the top. Well modeled roped motif producing a crest. The spiral or helix was a favorite Viking form. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored. Vikings exchanged wedding rings on the pommel of the groom’s sword. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
