Description

Silvered bronze, a little over ½" square, and represents the field for "taking the auspices" which is the interpretation of the will of the Gods by observing the activity of birds within a prescribed area. This was done by augurs, selected clerics skilled at making such interpretations. This pendant may have been worn by an auger, or a believer demonstrating their faith in the process. Professionally refurbished for modern wear with the pure silver overlay restored, on a Sterling silver neck chain. Gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
