Provenance: as with all the works we have by this artist, it has come from the artists estate in France.
Description: In this hauntingly beautiful mid-century composition, Anne Marie Migette Perard uses mixed media and experimental techniques to create an ethereal scene of a bride and groom walking through a dreamlike forest. The figures, rendered in delicate blue and white tones, appear to float within a textural haze of swirling greys, icy blues, and pops of orange and red.
