Victorian Diamond Silver 14 karat Yellow old Earrings
This pair of Victorian two-stone diamond earrings is crafted in 14k yellow gold with silver settings. Each earring is designed with a small top diamond and a larger suspended diamond below, creating a classic vertical layout. The diamonds are set in silver baskets, a design choice used historically to enhance the appearance of antique diamonds. This style was commonly used in the Victorian era before white gold and platinum became standard.
The lower diamonds are old mine cut stones. One weighs approximately 1.20 carats, with -K color and VS2 clarity, and the other weighs around 1.15 carats, -K color, S1 clarity. Both display the characteristic deep crown and open culet of early diamond cutting styles. The upper stones are approximately 0.05 carats each.
These diamond earrings are a strong representation of Victorian-era diamond jewelry. They combine antique cuts with metalwork in an original period setting.
The setting is made of 14 karat (tested) yellow gold and silver.
The earrings measure ¾” x 3/8” (1.9 x 0.8 cm) and weigh 3.8 grams.
n great condition; wear consistent with age and use (please see pictures for details).
