Wegner for GETAMA. The companion piece to the GE-290/2 two-seat sofa (Lot 32); this three-seat version offers the same iconic Danish Modern design at a more generous scale. Originally created in 1953 and remaining in continuous production; the GE-290 series represents one of Wegner's most enduring achievements. This example features a spring-loaded quilted seat platform upholstered in a deep brown full-grain semi-aniline leather. Unmarked.

CONDITION: Very good condition with few signs of use. Leather supple and free of significant wear; cracking; or staining. Beech frame structurally sound with no looseness to joints.
