About the artist: Born April 13, 1912 in Odessa. He graduated from the Kiev Art Institute (1947). He studied under O. Shovkunenka. Member of World War II. He worked in the industry of easel painting. Major works: “Song of the Fatherland” (1949); “Favorite lesson” (1957); “Native places of T. G. Shevchenko” (1961); “Morning at the boarding school” (1965) and others. He participated in republican exhibitions since 1949. He was awarded the Order of the Red Star and medals. He died in 2011.
