ABOUT THE ARTIST: Stolyarenko Petro Kuzmich – was born on 13th of July, 1925 in Kapkany village, Crimea. Landscapist, master of the thematic painting and still life. He studied at Bogayevsky workshop and art studio at Feodosia Aivazovsky Picture Gallery at Barsamov N.S. Since 1948 he participated in republican, all-Union, as well as numerous foreign art exhibitions. The first personal exhibition took place in Kyiv in 1963. Since 1953 – a member of the Union of Artists of USSR. Honored Artist of Ukraine since 1972. Since 1985 National Artist of Ukraine. Works are kept in museums of Ukraine, Russia, and numerous foreign and domestic private collections. The Artist died in 2018.
