ABOUT THE ARTIST: Zhurakovsky Victor Petrovich – was born on the 29th of May, 1928 in Harbin city (now China). He studied at the Odessa Art College. Mentors: Muchnik A., Frumin D., Todorov M., Mutselmakher M. Worked in the easel painting industry, specializing in landscapes. Since 1955 he has taken part in Republican and all-Union exhibitions. Major works: "With a catch" (1955); "Morning at the Port" (1957); "Noon" (1960); "Fresh Wind" (1961); "Soviet Ukraine", "In the Odessa Port" (1964), and others. The artist died on the 19th of September, 2001.
