ABOUT THE ARTIST: Iskam Viktor Vasyliovych – was born on 1st January, 1927 in Stara Poltavka village, Russia. He studied at Odessa Art College and Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture. Worked in the field of easel painting and graphics. The author of battle paintings, landscapes, portraits, and still lifes. Since 1957, he participated in republican, all-Union, and foreign art exhibitions. Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine. Works are presented in art museums and private collections in Ukraine and abroad. The artist died on the 3rd of June, 2010.
