ABOUT THE ARTIST: Kolomoitsev Petr Mikhailovich - was born on July 11, 1924, in the city of Krasny Luch, Luhansk region. Graduated from the Lugansk Art School (1941); Kyiv Naval School (1955). He opened an art gallery in his own house (1987). Teachers in the specialty: A. Filbert, I. Weinstein, G. Levchenko. Painter. Author of landscapes, still lifes, portraits, thematic paintings. Reproduced events in the fleet during the Great Patriotic War and in peacetime. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1999). He was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War, (1985), medals. Honored Artist of the ARC (2005). Participated in exhibitions: city, republican, all-union, international (since 1945). Personal exhibitions - in Sevastopol (2008-2009). Major works: "Front-line snowdrops" (1975), "Return from the campaign" (1978), "Sevastopol poppies" (1990), "Evening twilight" (1995), "Blue spring.
