ABOUT THE ARTIST: Egorov Boris Kuzmich – was born on the 25th of March, 1925 in Znamenka city, Kirovograd region. He studied at Odessa Art School. Mentors: Shelutno N., Pavlyuk N., Todorov M. Since 1951, participated in many regional, republican, and international exhibitions. In 1972, he became a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR and the Union of Artists of the Ukrainian SSR. Landscape and portrait master. Major works: «Winter» (1971), «Poplar» (1974), «Militia» (1978), «Road to the Church» (1980), «Golden Khortytsya» (2005). His works are represented in Zaporizhzhya, Kirovograd, Kyiv, and Odesa art museums, in private collections of Ukraine and abroad. More than 150 works are kept in the State Art Fund of Ukraine. Boris Kuzmich died on the 8th of June, 2017.
