ABOUT THE ARTIST: Alexandrochkin Yuri Mykhaylovich – was born on 27 January 1937 in Stalingrad (Modern Volgograd). He studied at the Kharkiv Art Institute of Painting at the theatrical and decorative faculty. Painter, theater artist. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1974. Worked as an art director in the Sumy Regional Music and Drama Theater from 1964 to 1966, and the artist of the Sumy Art and Production Workshop of the Art Fund of Ukraine from 1965 to 1998. The main works: Partisans from Sumy region (1975), After the Battle (1979), Three Heroes (1983), The First Tractor (1984), The Autumn Approach (1991), and The Quiet Evening (1999). Works are represented in the Sumy Art Museum, Kursk Fine Art Gallery, the Lesya Ukrainskiy Museum (Kovel, Volyn Region), and art galleries of Bulgaria, and Germany. Participated in republican, all-Union, and international exhibitions. The personal exhibition was held in 1997 in Sumy.
