comprising 'The Start', 'The Finish', each depicting a horse race, 'The Last Lap' depicting a penny farthing race, 'The First Touch', depicting a rugby match, together with 'God Speed the Plough' and 'The Crystal Palace', each in framed, the matting inscribed with the titles and 'WOVEN IN SILK BY THOMAS STEVENS, INVENTOR AND MANUFACTURER, COVENTRY AND LONDON (REGISTERED)

Condition Report:

Each with fading and discolouration to the silks. With some foxing. The frames have knocks and wear. Some of the pictures are loose in the frames, and the backs have become unattached.
