Description

This is a large antique country house coal bin. An English, copper fireside fuel keeper, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1850's.

Appealing proportion, with generous storage to attend to the needs of the larger fire.
Displays a desirable aged patina and in original order.
Lightly polished, hand-rolled copper presents warm amber hues.
Minimally tarnished, with a naturally aged interior and circular base.
Finished with a stout rolled handle and shaped handle to rear.

Condition Notes: The item appears to have been modified to be a lamp at one point in its life. There are 2 small drill holes on the bottom, as seen in the photos.
