A beautiful relic of times past, this handmade rustic Americana 19th century wood barber pole is every bit as captivating today as it would have been in the last century. Pole is connected to block base by antique hardware on base with a carved wood globe on top. Slit in side of wood (see photos) illustrates where it was once hung from a building.

Condition Notes: Given its age, this wood barber pole remains in good condition. Minor wood splitting on column (see photos), yet that only enhances its charm. Top finial was, at some point over its lifetime, re-applied with an adhesive, most likely wood glue. Hardware on underside of wood base is old, so pillar can, if touched, feel that it sways slightly.
