The artist is fascinated with the desert, and she created Sunburn Sizzle using acrylic paint mixed with modeling paste, which allowed for the creation of definite texture in the piece. Its varying shades of turquoise and orange will enliven any. space. This acrylic painting is on gallery wrapped canvas. It is signed on the front, and has a UV protective varnish. Almost twenty years ago, an art installer lost his balance on a ladder, and the canvas on the right side was damaged. There is a "U" shaped tear, approximately 1-1/4" on a side, on the right side of the canvas. Because there is so much surface texture, this is not noticeable, unless you are really searching for it. The painting has black sides, and is wired and ready to hang.

Due to the small area of damage, this painting is being offered at one-third of its normal gallery price.
