The J. P. L. stands for Jean Pouyat Limoge, the city in France where many porcelain factories were established. Pouyat Factory was established in Limoges in 1844. It was know for it's exceptional texture and sometimes they were enameled or gilded. Each plate has a different pattern and has the markings on the underside. Set of 12. Signed.
