Adolphe Menjou autographed 8 x 10″ black-and-white studio film still depicting him in character from the 1936 20th Century-Fox production Sing, Baby, Sing. Menjou has signed the photograph in blue-green ink along the left side of the image. The piece presents a strong, expressive scene capture representative of his polished screen persona during Hollywood’s Golden Age.
The autograph has been fully authenticated and professionally encapsulated by PSA/DNA. Photograph exhibits light age wear including some light creasing.
Adolphe Menjou (1890–1963) was one of Hollywood’s most recognizable leading men from the silent era through the 1940s. Known for his refined manner, pencil mustache, and sophisticated roles, Menjou appeared in more than 100 films and earned an Academy Award for The Front Page (1931). He remains an enduring symbol of classic studio-era cinema.
