Hume Cronyn autographed 8 x 10" black-and-white studio portrait issued by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, depicting the actor in a formal suit and tie with pocket square. Cronyn has signed the photograph in blue ink along the left image area.
The autograph has been fully authenticated and professionally encapsulated by PSA/DNA. Includes an affixed JSA authentication label in the lower right corner. Near fine condition.
Hume Cronyn (1911–2003) was a distinguished stage, film, and television actor whose career spanned more than six decades. A member of the original Mercury Theatre under Orson Welles, Cronyn appeared in landmark films such as Shadow of a Doubt (1943), The Postman Always Rings Twice (1946), and The Seventh Cross (1944). He later became widely beloved for his long creative partnership with his wife, Jessica Tandy, earning an Academy Award nomination for Cocoon (1985) and cementing his reputation as one of the most respected character actors of the 20th century.
