Jack Carson (1910–1963) was a prolific American actor known for his work in both comedy and drama during Hollywood’s Golden Age. A contract player at Warner Bros., Carson appeared in numerous films throughout the 1940s and 1950s, often alongside stars such as Doris Day, Joan Crawford, and Humphrey Bogart. He later transitioned successfully to television, where his natural charm and versatility made him a familiar and well-liked presence on early TV screens.
