Ann Blyth (born 1928) is an American actress whose career spans film, television, and opera. Rising to prominence as a teenager, she earned an Academy Award nomination for her powerful performance in Mildred Pierce (1945) opposite Joan Crawford. Blyth went on to star in numerous MGM productions throughout the late 1940s and 1950s, becoming known for her versatility in drama, musicals, and period films, and remains a celebrated figure of Hollywood’s Golden Age.
