Avraham Soskin autographed Bilu 70th Anniversary souvenir card, issued in 1953 and limited to only 1,000 printed copies (this example numbered 008). The card features Soskin’s famous 1922 photograph of the last surviving members of the Bilu movement at Palms Boulevard, Rishon Le-Zion, alongside a commemorative 1.10 Israeli stamp. Soskin has signed at lower right in bold ink.

Avraham Soskin (1881–1963) was a pioneering photographer in early 20th-century Palestine, renowned for documenting the establishment and growth of Tel Aviv, as well as capturing iconic images of the Zionist pioneers and early settlers. His photographs are among the most important visual records of Israel’s formative years, chronicling both urban and agricultural life.
