Miloslav Mansfeld (1912–1991) was a Czech-born Royal Air Force officer and one of the most successful Czechoslovak bomber pilots of World War II. After escaping Nazi-occupied Europe, he flew with RAF Bomber Command, completing more than 130 operational missions and earning multiple Allied decorations. Mansfeld later served as an instructor and officer, though he was imprisoned in communist Czechoslovakia after the war before eventually being rehabilitated. Today he is remembered as a symbol of resilience and sacrifice among the Allied air forces.
