Charles McKnight 8.5 x 11" Xerox mission navigation chart titled Part I Navigation Track Chart, dated April 1945. The document illustrates the flight paths of Missions 13–16 conducted by the Twentieth Air Force, 313th Wing, 509th Group, including the Hiroshima and Nagasaki atomic bomb runs. Features detailed takeoff, target, and landing coordinates. Boldly autographed at lower right by Col. Charles McKnight, who adds “AEC of Top Secret.”

Charles F. McKnight (1917–1996) served as a U.S. Army Air Forces officer and assistant to the Chief of Staff for the 509th Composite Group, the unit responsible for the atomic bomb missions over Japan. His detailed mission records and correspondence offer an invaluable firsthand view of the operations that brought World War II to a close.
