Bernhard Tessmann autographed 8 × 10 color photograph depicting Missile Park at White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico, with an array of historic rockets displayed against the Organ Mountains backdrop. The photograph is signed on the reverse by Tessmann and includes a handwritten dedication dated March 14, 1988, addressed to Samuel S. Kloda. The image documents one of the most significant sites in American rocketry, closely associated with early missile testing and the transition from military rocketry to the U.S. space program.

Bernhard Tessmann (1921–2014) was a German-born rocket engineer who worked on the V-2 program during World War II before continuing his career in the United States as part of Operation Paperclip. He became a longtime NASA engineer at the Marshall Space Flight Center, contributing to propulsion and missile research during the early Cold War and Space Race era. Tessmann’s work helped bridge early missile technology and the foundations of America’s spaceflight achievements.
