Mae Jemison autographed Bessie Coleman First Day of Issue cover, postmarked April 27, 1995, in Chicago, Illinois. Issued in the U.S. Postal Service’s Black Heritage Series, this 32¢ commemorative stamp honors pioneering aviator Bessie Coleman (1892–1926), the first African American and Native American woman pilot. The cover features a vivid cachet image of Coleman in front of her aircraft, with Jemison’s autograph prominently signed in bold black ink at lower right. Hand-numbered “75/100” at lower left.
