Albert B. Sabin signed First Day Cover honoring Osteopathic Medicine, issued October 9, 1972, and postmarked Miami, Florida. The cover features the 8¢ Osteopathic Medicine stamp and an ArtCraft cachet depicting Andrew Taylor Still, founder of osteopathic medicine. Sabin’s signature appears clearly in ink across the lower portion of the cover.

Albert Sabin (1906–1993) was an American medical researcher best known for developing the oral polio vaccine.
