The ArtCraft cachet illustrates key milestones in electronics, including the transistor, radio tube, microphone, and integrated circuitry, paired with the 15¢ Progress in Electronics commemorative stamp. Kilby’s autograph appears clearly in blue ink at the lower right.

Jack Kilby (1923–2005) was an American engineer best known for inventing the integrated circuit, a breakthrough that made modern computers, smartphones, and electronics possible.
