Seth Bullock (1849–1919) was one of the most prominent lawmen of the American frontier. Best known as the first sheriff of Deadwood, Dakota Territory, Bullock earned a reputation for strict law enforcement during the Black Hills gold rush. He later served as a U.S. Marshal, businessman, and South Dakota state senator, maintaining close ties with Theodore Roosevelt, who appointed him to federal office.
A compelling Old West financial document directly linking one of the frontier’s most iconic figures to Western mining history.
