Georges Braque (1882 ?1963) was a prominent 20th-century French painter, collagist, draughtsman, printmaker, and sculptor who studied at Ecole des Beaux-Arts. His most notable contributions were his alliance with Fauvism in 1905 and his role in the development of Cubism.
