This appears to be a commemorative or reproduction pocket watch featuring a German U-boat, specifically the Type VII-C submarine U-96. It was commissioned in September 1940 and famously nicknamed a "Grave Wolf" (or "Wolf of the Sea"), and patrolled the Atlantic. Inside internals marked “ZLN”.
