Trajan (98-117 CE) very successful emperor who led Rome when it reached it's greatest size. His column, built in Rome to honor his victory over the Dacians, still stands. 3.23 grams and grades F/VF. The reverse has SPQR OPTIMO PRINCIPI (The Senate and People of Rome to the Best of Princes); Hadrian (117-138) came right after Trajan and was a very able General and Emperor. Coins has HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS, laureate head facing right. Rev.: COS III, Rome seated with spear and parazonium on cuirass and shield facing right, globe below. Grades F/VF - 2.77 grams
