Description
Vintage porcelain pieces by Piero Fornasetti, dating to the 1950s. The circular plate, measuring 9 1/2 inches in diameter, is part of the 'Le Oceanidi' series, featuring a detailed design of a female figure within a seashell. The rectangular dish, sized 10 inches wide by 5 inches deep, belongs to the 'Musicalia' series, showcasing black and white transferware illustrations of musical instruments and sheet music against a gilt background. The plate bears the Fornasetti Milano mark for Rosenthal Import, and the dish displays the Fornasetti made in Italy seal. The dish shows noticeable wear to the glaze, consistent with its vintage age.
