1940s Star of Edinburgh Crystal Sherry Glasses, Made in Scotland- Set of 6

Description

Star of Edinburgh was first introduced in 1958. This is a beautiful crystal sherry set of 6. These really sparkle in the light living up to its name "Star of Edinburgh."

The star pattern is an interpretation of the Scottish emblem. This pattern is now discontinued.

Acid etch mark on base "Made in Edinburgh Scotland'

Condition-Excellent condition of 5, the 6th has two minor rim chips-great for frequent use-see photo.

The 5.25" height x 2.75" width identifies this as a sherry glass. Certainly can be used for cordial, wine, or mixed cocktail.
