Description
This magnificent decanter bottle is made out of porcelain. This decanter is signed as being made in Japan, and it has a sticker indicating that it once held Kamotsuru Sake, see pictures. This bottle is a depiction of the Japanese God Daikuko, who is depicted holding a wish-granting mallet in his right hand, holding a bag of precious things on his back, and sitting on two rice bags, as he is shown here; for this decanter, the top of the mallet comes off and serves as the stopper for the decanter. This piece has a lovely overall white, black, red, and yellow color scheme with gold detailing and a marvelous moriage style design.
