"The founder of the glass factories was Josef Inwald (1837"“1906), who ran his company based in Vienna as the sole owner.
The company's exhibition objects received several awards, for example at the Vienna World Exhibition in 1873 , the Paris exhibition in 1878 and the exhibition in Trieste (1882) and Teplitz (1884). In 1892 Inwald was an exhibitor and member of the central commission for the World's Fair in Chicago and in 1891 served as president of the State Anniversary Exhibition in Prague ." -Glasswork History
