This beautiful, peach luster, Alacite glass table lamp is made by Aladdin (trademark is embossed on the bottom rim). It is made with 3/8" thick glass, has 6 little glass-raised feet, the original brass ring on top and a stunning, original Aladdin glass finial to top it all off! There is an "Underwriters Laboratories, Inc., Inspected Portable Lamp, Issue 2995", green label on the inside of the base.
Alacite glass was the creation of Henry Hellmers and in his words was described as "an ivory opal glass".
The 1930's has never looked so fine!
The shade is not included.
The total height of the light, from its base, to the top of its finial, is 27.5".
The "body" of the light is 13.5" and the harp, socket, and finial measure another 14".
The finial itself measures 3.75".
