An antique Indian early 20th century hand carved architectural temple carving from Gujarat, depicting a smiling woman. Born in the Western portion of India in the state of Gujarat, this exquisite hand carved temple sculpture features a smiling woman, depicted both in a frontal position while her legs are carved in profile. Topped with a delicate headdress and wearing nice clothes and jewelry, the woman exudes an undeniable air of serenity, her head slightly tilted to the side. Charming our eyes with its nicely weathered appearance and nice proportions, this early 20th century Indian temple carving from Gujarat, unfinished in the back, will enliven any wall beautifully.
