Original early-1800s hand colored antique botanical print that appeared in "The Botanic Garden" published by the British botanist Benjamin Maund from 1825 to 1851. Each engraving consists of 4 panels featuring "ornamental flowering plants cultivated in Great Britain."

The prints are notable for their detail and exquisite hand coloring as shown in the included floral panel. This print includes (clockwise from top left) the Rose, Anemone, Bell-flower and Clarkia. The engraving measures 6 x 8 inches. Included are the original accompanying text pages authored by Maund which describe the plants shown on the print.

This is an original antique hand-colored Botanical print from the early 1800s - not a reproduction. It is in excellent condition with no imperfections. The print is carefully packaged in an archival plastic sleeve with backing board, and shipped in a cardboard flat mailer with cardboard insert.

Multiple print purchases are combined into a single shipment which can reduce the total shipping charge.
