Tony Trezza painted this still life in 1955, according to the date on the back of frame. It was on display in my grandparent's house for decades. I love the color palette, subdued except for the pink ribbon. Part of the MCM vibe of this painting is the inclusion of the cigarettes in the small bowl. I still have the larger ceramic pot which Tony used to hold his paintbrushes. There is some aging and crazing to the surface of the paint, commensurate with age. See the close up detail photos.
