Japanese Edo period bronze hanging vase with 3-chain suspension. Lobbed rim with cloud-formed walls. Finely formed chain link attached by s-hooks rising up to a join-ring. The vessel stands on cloud-formed feet and has a natural verdigris patina. The size is 5.5" in diameter and stands 3.3" tall. The chain has a 13" drop. Early-mid 19th century. Fine and unusual Japanese vase. Very good condition.
