Impressionist oil landscape in the period frame. E. J. Cygne was born in 1929 in the USA. Worked extensively in the impressionist idiom and created nostalgic pastorals of the late 19th century. Strolling ladies with parasols meander through the autumn meadow. Signed to the lower right corner Cygne. Framed in mid-century bone-tone and gessoed antique framing. The size framed is 46" by 34". the Canvas is 36" by 25". Very good condition.
