About the artist: Born on January 1, 1929 in Baku. He graduated from the Baku Art School named after Azim Azimzade (1949) and the Kiev Art Institute (1955). Teachers by profession - M. Sharonov, S. Erzhikovsky, O. Sirotenko, M. Ivanov, K. Trokhimenko, A. Chichkan. Member of the CPSU. He worked in the field of easel painting. Major works: "The Last Leaf" (1957); From the Encirclement (1960); Not One Step Back (1964); "Countrymen" (1967); "It was 1918" and others. Participated in republican exhibitions since 1957. Lived and worked in Kiev. He died in 2001.
